The sheer amount of opportunities for businesses to work together is truly remarkable. Collaboration is everywhere. Beginning with creative and strategic outreach, these partnerships have proven highly effective for those who seek them out.
Think about it: If you own a business or run an organization, either by yourself or with a group of board members, there are few calls better than those you get from other organizations looking to launch a well-put-together collaborative campaign or event.

Last weekend, one of our partners, NorCal Kettle Corn, had their tent and booth set up at the Rocklin Brewfest, where locals came out to enjoy a vast selection of beers from 47 breweries and 10 home brewers from all around the Sacramento and Placer region. There were also a handful of delicious food trucks available to attendees.
At a drinking event, what do you absolutely NEED? FOOD!
Food and drinks at events are some of the most obvious opportunities for collaboration that directly help everyone involved at that event – The attendees, the vendors, and those organizing the entire event.
Although food and drink are commonly found in campaigns or at events, there are so many other ways that businesses can look to expand their audience and brand recognition through collaborative efforts.
If both organizations have done a good job with their own brands in their own markets, then there’s a good chance that they will create a mutually beneficial campaign.
Another example: Before the Rocklin Brewfest, I had no clue that Dogtopia existed. Their setup was eye-catching and memorable amongst the beer and wine booths. Dog-owners missing their beloved pups were likely to grab a flyer while they strolled by so that the next time they go out of town, they’ll know their dog is comfortable and being cared for.
There are countless ways to partner with other businesses to benefit everyone, you just have to get creative! This is easier for some than others, but any time spent on these initiatives can be invaluable.
